Friends of Ohio Barns is excited to announce a state-wide barn grant for Ohio barn owners!

We are proud to say that we are one of the only states to provide grant money for repair, and restoration efforts.

It is our goal to address the concerns threatening Ohio’s farms and rural landscapes by providing barn owners, barn lovers and the folks who believe in the importance of Ohio’s historic barns, opportunities to receive possible financial aid for some of the work needed to bring an Ohio barn back to its original state.

The endowment fund that was established several years ago is now in a position to fund this grant process. There are stipulations to awarding a single grant recipient each year, so please read over the Conservation Grant information carefully before submitting a request. Thank you for supporting Friends of Ohio Barns and good luck!

  5. Hi , my name is Scot Evans and I have a very old barn in Morrow County, Ohio (no nails , pegs and slotted wood) that I’d like to repair rather than sell to numerous barn buyers that have stopped by. Is there funds available to preserve these treasures ; I can’t seem to locate and follow the BARN GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS referenced?
    Thank you,
